A co-operatively owned and managed 206 unit apartment building in the heart of Toronto.

Windmill Line is a non-profit co-operative corporation.  Our business is to provide members of the corporation with housing.  The co-operative owns 206 one, two, and three bedroom apartments in a 10 storey building.  Each member leases his or her unit from the co-operative corporation.

There are housing co-operatives all across Canada.  The majority are concentrated in Vancouver, Toronto, and Quebec.  In the Toronto area, we are one of over 100 co-operatives, which have been developed within the last 20 years.

Co-operatives operate on the understanding that people can live better and achieve more through co-operation.

Co-operative Housing Offers you;

1. Monthly Housing Charges which cover only the cost of operating the units, not profit.
2. Security in the fact that your building will not be sold out from under you.  You can live in the co-op as long as you are a member in good standing.
3. A community spirit, which grows from people working with each other to reach common goals.
